The Invisible Rules
What's really holding women back in business ... and how to fix it

Tiga's Tale
The remarkable life of champion boxer Barrington Francis
It’s no big secret at this point: Women remain badly represented at the top of corporate Canada. Fewer positions, lower pay, less security, and limited opportunities to really impact the current power structure. The big question is, Why? And, more to the point, what can we do about it?
Based on one-on-one with 50 senior female executives – including some of Canada’s highest profile leaders – The Invisible Rules provides a ready-made model for women looking for career advancement and a blue print for current leaders (male and female) looking to create more inclusive, engaged, socially responsible, and, ultimately, competitive organizations.

Identified as a Best Business Book for 2021 by
Harvey Schacter of the Globe and Mail
Tiga’s Tale chronicles the remarkable and inspiring life of world champion boxer Barrington “Tiga” Francis, who survived crushing poverty and violence in Jamaica’s notorious ghettos – and the insidious racism of 1980s Montreal – to emerge as one of Canada’s most successful professional fighters. It is an incredibly inspiring story of abandonment, survival, perseverance, faith and, ultimately, triumph.

A provocative profile in courage, Tiga’s Tale twins the twelve rounds of Barrington’s fight for the coveted British Commonwealth Title with twelve compelling vignettes from his extremely challenging life. From Jamaican street-urchin to quiet Canadian hero. Ultimately, Tiga’s Tale is the inspiring and heart-warming story of one man’s fight, quite literally, for meaning, respect and survival.
